The legalization of recreational marijauna in NYC in 2021 led to a boom of cannabis startups looking to get in on the action. Gaslab was one of these such companies. What started as a one-off package design led to me creating a series of packages in the same style. Drawing equally from old school comics and modern psychedelic aesthetics, I had a blast telling the story of the Gaslab scientists and their ill-fated experiments.
